Framed about the life and exploits of a young man growing up in Altvik. Struck by lightning at an early age and chosen by the Norse Gods, his journey takes him across the world and back, to Byzantium and the other, stranger places. A lovely read that has beautiful, compelling vignettes of daily life in the height of the Northman expansionist era. Well worth the read. 5 months ago
