This site was started to share our interests and generally chronicle our explorations of the stuff we like.

Who we are: A group of friends with like interests that include the brewing of mead, folk metal, craftwork such as chain maille and leatherwork, world mythology and philosophy, fantasy literature and gaming, Vikings and other ancient peoples, and other anachronistic hobbies.

We’re always happy to meet and exchange with others who dig these same interests, and we’re happy to take on new contributors.  Feel free to contact us if you’d like to become a contributing member of The Council.
